Another Day in the kennel.

I needed to rearrange my kennel panels to plan for the near futrue movement of groups of puppies! LOL Worked for 5-6 hours today. My feet hurt! The Dals were so good but did not provide any help. :(

I asked UC Davis for special pricing on the testing for the SLC2A9 gene. They will (did) report it as NN for "You Who" as well as for "dUncUn" - I mean "duNcuN". Did you notice his name, guardian Board Chairman....... B..C... for "backcross"...hahaha. WE are so FAR from the early 5 generations of Mendalian Genetic Backcross Efforts conducted by Dr. Robert Schaible! What an excellent breeding effort to harvest the normal gene for urinary uric acid. Just superior science started so many years ago - 1973!

When I do the math and realize the 38 years have passed....omgosh. Oh - I called the AKC today. The Registry Research Dept. will evaluate the UKC Pedigrees of "You Who" and "Duncun".
